lol? ... this reflects maybe 15% of the style as a whole. Mainly the brutal death metal acts. Not all Death Metal is about the brutality. Listen to Cianide or Bolt Thrower..

Wes Borland is probably the most talent the style has bred, but even he admits to him not liking the band he is in. Big Dumb Face was okay for a wannabe Ween group though.

Anyways, I already admited in that post that all styles of music are gimmicky. All revolve around some sort of theme. But I prefer the themes of extreme metal to nu-metal, which was too whiny and complaining for me.
