I still haven't heard many Wilco songs, but this thread reminded me that I should really listen to one of Jeff Tweedy's albums from start to finish.
I feel Tweedy creates great pensive, instrospective songs, such as "Reservations" and a new one that I just listened to for the first time today: "Please be patient with me." I don't usually like rambling, folksy guitar songs like some of the ones he writes, but maybe his voice gives them enough of a rough edge that I like them:

Light with pleasant rhyming yet a serious intent, this song is one I enjoy off the
Sky Blue Sky album, which this thread's starter doesn't appreciate very much. I especially like the room in this video. It looks like a room I'd enjoy being in with its deep red walls, lovely lamp, old-fashioned clock, and window view:

I still don't know which album this song is from (and I don't really care), but I like its meaning and Jeff Tweedy's unrefined voice. He sounds like just a regular person singing and I like that about his music:
