They survived, grew, and flourished, all through the word of mouth of their fanbase, without resorting to releasing singles for a quick sell and instant hype, without, at any point, compromising their vision be it in running orders or liner note artwork, they were the blueprint for any rock band that has ever followed their lead.
And they were local boys too.
