sound nothing like Floyd - any period.
One of the earliest bands to COVER Floyd (this is in the late 70s) was Sixting Music from France.
And something that few know: one of the very first COVERS of Floyd on 45rpm came -
most unexpectedly from Canada.
But...we are not talking cover versions, so I offer up two EARLY (pop-whimsey) period Floyd-wannabe lps:
WALTER GHOUL'S LAVENDER BRIGADE "IS COMING" (This early 90s duo are from New Orleans but sound very English!)
