I'm not an atheist, I'm agnostic. You could use both terms interchangeably to describe me I suppose but my stance is essentially one of non-belief. There isn't any actual burden of proof on me to justify my stance no matter how much you claim there is. You're right, there's no burden, it is a voluntary discussion. But it is a sincere question that begs an answer from all atheists
Though since you're agnostic, I suppose that changes my stance a bit
