I'm going to see them in June, I've never seen them live before but I'm actually more a fan of Alexisonfire if I had to choose, I think George is adorable
... about the influence aspect... famous people and media have a huge influence over us mortals, some folk wouldn't quite like to admit to that perhaps. When I went to see Alexisonfire the other week there was this guy infront of me who was shouting that he loved Dallas the lead singer, I thought this was a bit odd. I know I shouldn't really. It was because he was a guy I guess and he looked so punky-wunky and I wouldn't expect something like that from him. The guy was totally freaking out when they came on stage, it made me realise how bands and fame effect us. Where something like Veggeterianism is concerned I feel it would be appeal to certain fans, but it is as someone pointed out a MASSIVE lifestyle change and I highly doubt it would provoke fans to follow suit unless they were die hard fans.
