* Australian Blonde, from Asturias, is not an outstanding band now, but two or three of their songs were quite known in the 90's: Chup Chup, Cool Dive.

* The Sunday Drivers, from Toledo (Castile, not Ohio ). Indie-pop, from 2003 to this month (they broke up two weeks ago). They've had a notable International success (France, Netherlands, Greece...).

And My Plan, Paranoid, I Should Go...

* Cool Frog, from Barcelona. Rock, power pop.

* CatPeople (Vigo and Barcelona). There is a thread here.

* The Pinker Tones (Barcelona). An Internationally known duo of indie-electronica, but mixed with many other genres (pop, funk, lounge, soul, etc.). And in several languages (Spanish, French, English, German) too.

* Russian Red, pseudonym of Lourdes Hernández, a girl from Madrid who writes and sings folk music in English (she says that's instinctive because she has always listened to music in English):

* Anni B Sweet, another young folk singer-songwriter. Her real name is Ana López, from Málaga (Andalusia), but since she studied in a British school near her birthplace, to sing in English is easy to her:
