Most bands only have about 3 good albums in them

Nah, theres several with 6-8.... Depends on their longetivity and consistancy.

Nonetheless, Mellon Collie is my favorite SP album, and one of my top 100 overall, i think Gish, Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie are all excellent pieces of work, but i will say that everything else is pretty heavy handed... I personally don't consider their ballads or long songs to be any more boring than a 10 minute Can song, though i loved Tago Mago.

But don't worry, i changed my mind about doing a bad review of MSP.

Make that Super Furry Animals.

j/k

Not every single album you hate, i agree about Cacophony.

But seriously, our tastes are just radically different... Though i don't really hate any of the bands you like, save Motley Crue.

For me, i listen to my music collection consistantly... Thats why the featured album listed in my sig changes almost daily... I don't like to listen to one artist over and over until i get sick of them... For example i will listen to nothing but Radiohead and then i stop listening to them alltogether, and listen to other artists, until i feel ready to listen to Radiohead again, i do that with most bands i like.

I love this album, I have listened to it so much lately. But it's so depressing at points...

I bought this album yesterday. Wow, it really does blow. I'm glad I bought it used.
