this was pretty popular when I was in college, a few songs were tolerable for me, but it hasn't aged well, I can take or leave it
Funny thing is, music from my childhood has mostly aged well in my ears, but music from college I can't stand to listen to. Of course, most of the college years was the grunge rip offs

I remember hating it as a follow up to the blue album but then it slowly grew on me. "Why Bother" is a great track... especially at that time when I was in college not really getting laid.

Great album, but all their albums are great. Except make believe uuggg. The demos to make believe were better than the finished product.. soo weezer. new album soon ooooo.

That's part of the charm, silly. It's one of the only pop punk albums worth listening to. It's ambitious in its use of the opera "Madame Butterfly" as an under-sketch and very clever in its offbeat variations on the genre's lyrical norms.
