I loved it when I first listened to the album but now it's just collecting dust at the record store I sold it to.

I understand everyone's opinion here and I know exactly what you mean. Green Day doesn't deserve to be bashed just because they are pop rock or mainstream or super successful or have a bunch of teeny boppers in the audience but what about those of us that just don't like them in general. I've had experiences where people are just blatantly telling ME why I don't like a band. That I do not agree with.

this is probably the first album I ever listened to.
Green day is the first band I ever listened to. it was my gateway to music. I owe my music love to them. amazing album.
