Good point, BUT doesn't that really depend upon whether a coherent, unified statement was the intention behind the album? Sometimes you get records that are clearly just random assortments of songs.

Aside from that, I agree that more general reviews are a lot more interesting.

Totally agree as regards Home and Stranger Things Have Happened (maybe it deserves 8/10), but I think Come Alive is absolutely the best one! It may be similar to Let It Die but IMO it's more catchy and melodic, pure rock and then.......what if we considered Let It Die similar to Come Alive and not viceversa?!
