Just listened to it with a whiskey double in my hand. I loved it, but....like all Radiohead albums thus far, it failed to touch me deep down in my I-get-chills-and-cry-at-music spot. That being said, I think it's brilliant.

One thing struck me, though, and I could be totally wrong about this because I just listen to music casually. I'm not a critic...unlike their earlier works, this album doesn't have a cohesive musical voice. This isn't a criticism, just noting the contrast.

Having said that, there is a sublime moment of cohesion between "Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor Rich Man Poor Man Beggar Man Thief" and "True Love Waits".

Looking forward to it. Last one I liked was In rainbows. Not big on that Dancy bull****. This one seems promising.

Listened to the first 4-5 songs. Probably nice, but didn't grab me at all.
Will give it a few more chances though.

A lot of people enjoy the second half more.

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

Oh yes, I like this very much, the first few and last few tracks especially. As it stands now this is definitely a 4.5 star album for me, might possibly rise close to a clear 5 if the middle of the album grows on me even more. Gonna round it up to a 5 for the purposes of the poll. Favorite track currently is probably Daydreaming.

Every great band has a golden age before their albums get worse. Zeppelin's golden age ended with Physical Graffiti, Sabbath's ended in the early 80's... Radiohead is still popping out great albums 20 years after their first grand hit, The Bends.

Best record since In Rainbows. They're on the right track to making great music again.

Totally different from their previous albums. Their discography never really tried to go for an "emotional resonance," (not that their albums didn't succeed in that anyway). This album tries and succeeds. Plus, this new Chamber Pop sound of theirs makes it very new.

I played this for a friend last night without telling him what it was. He asked in a surprised voice about halfway through, "Is this Radiohead?" I nodded. Then he added, "Wow, it's much more chill than I expect from them."
