These New Forum Rules From Last Year Then... (quote, artist)

Is anybody actually paying attention to them then?

It just seems since I came back this place has got bitchier & bitchier ,I can gaurentee if you read a thread after just a few post you`ll either see someone complaining the thread sucks or someone giving someone abuse about something thats totally off topic. Yet all I see are closed threads after mass arguements after everythings happened & nothing else is done , i`ve even seen mods getting in these arguements rather than doing anything about them.It`s all very well saying report offensive posts to the mods but if they`re already in the thread commenting on it is there really much point? It`s pretty clear to me what someone giving abuse in a thread looks like.It only seems to be a handful of people so why are they still here still posting it?

Isn`t it about time the cause of the problem was addressed rather than cleaning up the problem all the time.Whatever happened to people starting personal attacks get a banning , the only bannings I given I see are for spamming newbies. I`m beginning to wonder if there are a few mods reluctant to ban people because they`re friends with these people who would rather be popular than impartial.

I`m not knocking the mods here by any means , I think some of them do a great job , I just think that some others make it more difficult for themselves.

I agree, it seems like all the rules are usually ignored...but the mods can't be everywhere and sometimes its hard to judge.

Theres been talk in the mod forum as of lately actually. Its more than likely to be , from now on, a warning, then a temporary ban and then permanent.

Of course, most of you will get pissed off and leave if youre banned, so I suppose that solves the problem anyway.

senes the first day i was here... *just learning and spamming everywhere after reading the rules cause i was unsure of how this all worked* i was attacked and continue to be everyday.. but i don't report it because well coming into this thing i kind of expected as much.. i know what people are like even more so girls.. there crule and well doesn't bother me.. the way i look at it is if someone is trying to start **** instead of walking away there just doing it to up themsevles.. LITTLE DO THEY KNOW!

ps. urban your a good man.. this was a good idea for a thread and for the peopel that disagree..no one is forcing them to post here..

I disagree with that, your making it seem like we insulted everything about you. People mainly got pist off because you we're making useless and off topic posts everywhere.

Stop changing your name! I think it was a good idea to bring this up Urban, but I like most of the MB'ers am not going to pay attention to the rules or to this that much until action is taken.

I'm a new comer and i think i learned pretty fast about posting and ****.. and yes sometime spamming is still going to happen in future.. sometimes it just happens that way.. you do it.. i do it.. almost everyone does it every now and again.. so don't act all high and mighty..

Yes everyone does it, but theres a difference between doing it and doing it to much. You were doing it too much. Im not going to get into this anymore and this is the last time im changing my name. I also do think the rules need to be reinforced and its good urban brought this up.
