well, I think it should be made, soley for the fact that DOC took so much time to formulate his opinion and reasons. It would be a waste to do nothing with all of his well thought out points.

I think that he is talking about something like a "Anything for Dummies" forum. Because he helped me out with my winamp not working and it is a good idea. Then there would be an actual forum for me to post my questions about FTP's and IRC script writing instead of it getting lost in the lounge.

I would but why? And there are plenty of other things that can be discussed on there. I guess it would mainly be a ask/get type of forum. And think if Ex. Del. made an FTP for all her music then everyone would be happy.

I take Music Technology and support the idea. Composers could share work, discuss the different programs (Sibelius, Sonar, Musition, Fruity Loops, etc.). It would go well in the Artist Corner.
