I just think it's a stupid idea, because people will be leaving themselves open to be teased by other people if they don't match music tastes.

5 reasons why this idea is stupid.

1) As Ethan said...It would take up way too much room on the server..(bandwidth....whatever..). It would probably crash it and if people were allowed to upload their own songs (I don't even know if that would work....) it would be s security risk.

2)Where would the song collection come from? You expect Greg to upload every single album ever so that you have your pick at a song?

3)Who the fuck even looks at other peoples profiles besides us mods when we're warning? There's not enough on that page itself to keep me entertained long enough to even listen to the first thirty seconds of a song.

4)This isn't like myspace where each persons profile has it's own personality..(if you want to call it that.) They all look the same. Who would actually go through peoples profiles instead of posting....which is the point of a forum.

5)It's illogical, pointless, and takes away from the purpose of the forum.

Sorry if this sounds a little harsh...but this is probably one of the worst ideas I've heard in a while.

4) well duh, this obviously isnt myspace

5) its a way of conveying each user's personality

2)Spammers could upload viruses to the server.

3)The profiles don't say enough about the posters to let them know much about the people they are talking to.

5)They should be conveying their personality on the boards.

it's a waste any way you look at it.
there are a ton of members here including the ones that never post. so we change the settings for mb so that all these poeple in ones that don't post could have a song played.

it's an even bigger waste when you consider the number of people that don't look at other people's profiles.

and misfits is right, this'll then be like myspace.
myspace is for pervs, pedophiles, losers, and other msicellaneous people.

musicbanter is full of pervs.
having music just makes us a tad bit more similar to myspace.
