Posts in the Lounge should not register in my opinion.
I like the Lounge and don't have a problem with it, it helps people to get to know each other better.
I just think music related posts should be the only ones that count.

I dont think posts in political threads or religious threads shouldnt be counted...but ones about Music..should.

Well, theoretically, posts in the lounge about music, shouldn't be in the lounge.

At the moment, posts in the lounge don't count towards your post count.
This is the way it should stay.

Because it takes zero competence or thought to say that you are currently listening to a Nirvana album or to say that you give something 8/10.

The "What are you listening to Right Now thread" use to be in "general music" but was being posted in so much because it was an easy way to get your post count up.

If you want the other threads to count towards post count, I would suggest asking a Mod to move them to a forum which does have an effect on said count.

As far as I know, it's not possible to enable counts for certain threads. Hence the "What Are You Listening To Right Now" thread being moved to the lounge.

It doesnt take much to say "this band sucks" or "I wouldnt listen to them" or "you suck for liking them"

But if you post them in the right forum...you post count goes up...
