I guess that's a good idea but I just don't like the fact of splitting the forum anymore than it all ready is.

We haven't even got there yet. We'll worry about it if that ever happens but it hasn't yet.

i think it would make more sense to have a senior member forum before 1 or 2 year long members. seeing as how loser has been the same time as me and already has nearly 600 posts.

not to turn up late & piss on everyone's ideas, but if everyone wants a "senior forum" or whatever, surely you could just up the chat thing again? i dunno, just seems like it'd make more sense than loads of threads where no music-related-but-just-seniors-talk is kept cloggin everything up.

but then, i know feck all about websitestuff.

The thing I have is if we make a senior part and a non senior part what happens when the non senior members reach the 1000 post. And doesn't want to go to the senior part can that person just stay there?

you wouldnt be confined to one forum,
thered just be one or two you'd not be able to go in.
just the same as now,
you can go in any of the forums you want, other than the modcave, get it?

Are you referring to age, amount of posts, or length of membership?

A private forum e.g; for members with over 1,000 posts would be a nice idea.
That way the long time members can interact with each other on a seperate level should they wish to.
And it would give new members an incentive to stick around to gain access to the private forum.

Having said that ^ I now prefer the idea of a private forum of a year plus membership, as opposed to 1,000 posts.
