i understand where hes coming from, rock and metal are two of the more difinitive genres, especially with the youth of today,
i don't personally see why country should have its own forum and metal should have to share, and abut all the confusion over genre classification, is it really that important? and if so can't the mods just....i dont know...fullfill their job requirements and move the threads? it seems this place has enough posts to space out a little more and that's the first place i'd start. That's like saying 'if we put in blogs someone might write **** blogs' - it just doesn't seem a valid enough reason to have the suggestion disregarded so quickly.

Why shouldn't country get its own forum? I mean in the past we've tried to have it share with folk and toss out the international music section, but in this context what would you have country share with?
I think the country forums main problem is that people are too cool to post there and so the alt-country bands go to the indie/alt forum.
