I think you're missing the point, its nice when you make a great post to get some recognition because while you may gain respect its not exactly a 'great job!' or anything.

Okay do you want all the mods to stop posting than and only moderate?

Seriously, I think you would have pointless reps left and right if that went down, all i'm saying is if someone makes a great post the member goes to the moderate and they rep it would cut down on the pointless repping.

A moderators job is to be Moderate or Neutral if you will

If things start getting silly, then it gets binned.

Besides, we don't even know if the Admin would be willing so this is a moot discussion.
