I guess I could technically be considered one those "noobs with ad sigs" . When I first looked over this thread's first post I wasn't thinking it included sig links, and had one before, so I didn't think anything of it. Plus I thought they might be just generally interesting to the community (and other people have links too).

I'm not here to complain about my sig links' removal and have no problem with it. Actually I was just wondering if a general format exists for deciding penalties? Are infractions given? Temporary bans? etc.

Anyway I completely understand why this was implemented. I belong to a few other forums that encounter similar problems (I imagine most, if not all forums do). Again sorry for the trouble, and I hope my small post count number doesn't paint me as a link dropper not interested in general contribution.

So let me get this straight, If I've been here for a while, I won't get flamed for saying "check out my band if you like this kind of music" or "anyone in Melbourne come to this gig on Saturday" kinda stuff?
