As PMO states, personal links (own bands, collections etc) are absolutely fine. We just felt that the amount of time spent moving posts to Promotion and/or removing noobs ad sigs, was impinging on quality post time. This way there can be no grey areas. Maybe the harassing PM'S from noobs may stop too. Here's hoping.

Wouldn't it have just made more sense then to restrict the advertising thread until a certain number of posts like 200 say had been achieved?
