Hardcore Forum (punk, rock, genre, classic, quote)

I think there should be a hardcore forum if there isn't one already. Currently I have been looking into hardcore bands like Malady, Light the Fuse and Run, Cut to s hit, yaphet kotto, the dillenger escape plan, horse the band, etc...

A hardcore forum would be helpful to discuss these many bands and about the hardcore scene. One possibility would be to make an Emo/Hardcore section on its own and not a subsection of punk.

except that wicked good bands like LTFAR and From Ashes Rise wouldnt be discussed. it would be more like From Autumn To Ashes and some band with breakdowns from other peoples songs and death growls.

similar problem already exists in the punk and emo forums. Still, I think it would be a great idea. I wouldn't mind seeing a lot more forums honestly.

I vote yes and David we can't be ana l about what constitutes hardcore or not. you are enough with the emo forum. but having a seperate section for Hardcore would be great. No more looking through boring post about Led Zepplin and other classic rock bands.

are you being sarcastic or serious? because hardcore is a genre, not a sub genre. metalcore would be a subgenre

I'm pretty sure Urban was being sarcastic, and I'm siding with him on this one. There aren't enough hardcore bands being discussed to warrant creating a new forum. It's no inconvenience to just discuss these bands in one of our existing forums.
