I'd like to at least know why he left. We knew absolutely nothing about his personal life so it's impossible to know why he quit.

I always considered US a better version of you. You were (at one time) more prolific at journals writing than US, but he was cooler than you so it all equaled out somehow. I miss him too. I wrote someone here a PM inquiring of his whereabouts, and the response was that the he was busy with work.
