Chatroom (members)

Is it possible to have a chatroom?
I don't know what it would require, whether it would be to much to have a mod supervising it all day.

But it would be a good place for people to chat openly, and would save some of the less worthwhile threads being created. I don't know, just spitballing here.

There was already a chatroom.It never got used at all and didnt cut down on the spam.

It was hard for the chatroom to work cause of posters from all over different countries, a lot of the time don't log on at similar times, so it defenitely didn't work out.

Since the forums community has gotten bigger., I'm rpetty sure it would be possible for anyone to be logged onw hen another person is.
That's all it takes, is two. Unless you're really bored and like talking to yourself. . .

You say about people of all different languages using the chatroom, but wouldn't it be possible to have a chatroom which MB members only can use? I haven't seen many foreign members around here, so I wouldn't have thought it would cause to many problems.

But I do think there would be the inevitable swarm of users that would only use the chatroom. And it would also make legendary pointless lounge posts less likely.

These faces are a little bit hard, know what I mean, a little bit of oof, have some of that my son, bosh, sorted, ta ta, got me, so be clever. Good, now shut it!
