Default Six Organs of Admittance

Touring with Joanna Newsome who I'm going to see next week so thought I would check them out. I think they're gonna be something to see live. Check them out, and if this gig is playing anywhere near you it might also be something to see. More placed in this forum for its 'alternative' status than its 'indie' so if you're looking for another Killers then don't bother, its not that kind of music. 'Words for two' is what I'm listening to just now and its pretty damn sweet. Sort of folky, which is why we need a folk forum!! (hint hint)

Where are you seeing them? I'm seeing them tomorrow...... well I'm seeing Joanna Newsom tomorrow (along with Doves, British Sea Power, Gruff Rhys, Jens Lekman), but Six Organs of Admittance are there too, along with a few others.

Six Organs is beautiful. They put a kind of folk spin on post-rock, I think.

i saw this tour (Six Ogans opening for J. Newsom) in bristol. F**cking students wouldn't shut up so couldn't hear a thing of Six Organs, and was next to the bloody speakers even! J. Newsom's voice is like fingernails on a chalk board to me... ANNOYING!

seeing 6 organs again in a few months at ATP. what a line-up!! http://atpfestival.com/events/nightmare/line_up.php

Oh I'm glad I did a search on this lot. I am currently downloading an album and I have a few up for offer if anyone wants the links, I've heard good things about Chasny. Will possibly report back soon.

he put on the skin and screwed on the head
