Post This Heat
some sort of avantgarde post punk band that was formed in 1975.
they released two albums:
the first (self titled) is the more experimental of the two, with exceptional songs like "horizontal hold" and "the fall of saigon", and the somewhat art bears-ish "not waving".
the second, "deceit", is the more listenable and acknowledgeable of the two, with songs like "a new kind of water" and "S.P.Q.R" that are just amazing.

thoughts on the band?

You beat me to posting about that the thread I made had beat the OP to This Heat. Is that a metaphor for something? I feel like it has some undertones of domestic violence vibes if you read into it.
