but I ultimately had to go with Jimi...

They are both amazing musicians but I prefer Hendrix over Page.

Jimi owns Jimmy. He was definatly more original, he was better live, and he put allot more emotion into the solos. Although Jimmy was better at riffs.

hendrix is better than page...if you know your blues you will know that half of zeppelins songs were stolen riffs....not that they aren't good...but page "borrowed" a ton.

One of the biggest chracteristics of blues is oversimplistic 12 bar chord progressions that are way too f*cking generic to be credited to any one artist to begin with. Blues guitarists steal from each other all the time.

Anyway, I still can't vote, though if this was preference it would be Page, he pretty much is my favorite guitarist. Yeah, even more so than Howe and Fripp.
