I serously don't get why people like Zeppelin, was it plants annoying vocals? Or Jimmy Page's annoying overhyped unoriginal guitar riffs? or is it just people enjoy listening generic classic rock and hyping it non-stop? Probably the last one.

Why do people like Bright Eyes? Conor sounds like a bitch, none of them are good at their instruments. Could it just be because liking crappy Indie makes you cool?

Yeah indie = independent labels, since you admit that I find it pretty funny you'd still say all indie sucks and bash it so much. So something has to be on a major label to be good?

Of course not.

And since I like a lot of older alternative rock music, which is technically Indie, I can't honestly believe that all Indie sucks. I even said I liked Arcade Fire, GY!BE, My Morning Jacket and Rilo Kiley just to name a few.

Just most of what is hyped on forums like this one, music sites/magazines like Pitchfork and Spin and the Indie subculture as a whole tends to be pretty horrible on a consistant basis.

Ha like what? I find them better and more creative then the majority of classic rock/metal bands like AC/DC or Metallica that get hype in all the guitar magazines I read and on forums.

Guitar magazines is a bad example, their purpose is to teach people more about the guitar. And who do you think you would learn more from? Brian May or Isaac Brock?

Pitchfork are supposed to rate good music, and they fail horribly, just read some of their reviews, I dare you.
