KISS- why not retire?? (rock, career, quote, 70s, bands)

I think KISS should retire. The phony Peter and Ace take lame to a higher new level. And Gene $immons doesn't even like rock music, he likes money.

yes, I agree. 1981 was a low point for KISS, but KISS did OWN the 1970s.
No band was bigger than KISS, save for maybe ABBA and Zeppelin.

But seriously, I think KISS is at the lowest point in their career, right now.
2 phonies pretending to be Peter and Ace kind of sum it all up.

I like KISS...To a degree, i really like Love Gun.

But i agree with Urban that the 70s had tons of better bands.

..................Half of them were prog bands.

start naming them. (aside from ABBA and Zeppelin)

I'm interested in hearing who these 'tons of better bands' are.
Let's see if their influence is greater than KISS.

I don't know crap about the 70s, but there was way better 70s artists then Kiss.
