The Beatles made trends, they didn't follow them: The Beatles were real, uh, trendsetters.
The Beatles were more diverse: They've dabbled in quite a variety of stuff. The Stones...Haven't. Not to say they quite deserve the 'blues cover band' comment I saw somewhere, but they stick to what they're good at.
RS 1: So...
RS 2: Listen to the riff in She Said She Said and then tell me the Beatles didn't have good riffs.
RS 3: Lol.
B 1: Jagger sang about what he knew, which was drugs, sex and booze. Nothing wrong with that.

So I'm spittin' to you
You say it's hell
I say it's bull**** we getting through
Blu
Let me fall out the window
With confetti in my hair
Deal out jacks or better
On a blanket by the stairs
I'll tell you all my secrets
But I lie about my past
So send me off to bed forever more.
