well what I was trying to say is that he never really had a "satanic" image, so to speak. I think people are just confused about the gimmick that he's been selling to consumers for years.

Im not familiar with what you're talking about with Reznor. He was a pretty depressed, f*cked up guy. Maybe that explains it.

In the song Closer he said I wanna **** you like an animal but in newer songs on the album Down The Spiral he mentioned animals more and in the new videos that came out with him singing old songs he was like ****ing a pig or something. It was weird, but dark ****ed up Trent Reznor weird..two thumbs up.

covered new ground? he's just the new age equivalent of alice cooper and a lot of his hits are covers. that doesnt mean i dislike him, in fact i like his music- but he isnt exactly original and/or groundbreaking.

yeah, but Alice Cooper went as far as to murder himself everynight on stage, where as Manson, well, the body suit for Dope show speaks for itself....
