Default Avant Garde classical

Anyone else know anything about his fairly obscure genre? Such as more pieces I might be able to check out?

One track I think you should all check out is;

Krzysztof (I have little idea on the spelling, go with his last name) Penderecki - Threnody (for the victims of Hiroshima)

It really is an awe-inspiring piece of music. It's written for something 52 strings, and almost every note is in relative pitch, so every string is encouraged to move away from perfect pitch.
