Default First time at the orchestra...

I just wanted to write abour my recent first experience attending the Orchestra London. Kaori Yamagami was the featured cellist (very emotive). I guess she recently was awarded 3 years use of a Bonjour Stradivari cello (circa 1696) and bow (ca. 1850) from the Canada Council. I don't claim to know anything about classical, the theme was "Power and Grace". The orchestra played Shostakovich (cello concerto No.1 and others), Beethoven; Symphony No.6 "Pastorale" (which was sooo predictable unfortunately 4 me) & others by Beethoven & Vertige by Linda Bouchard. If I've bored ne1 sorry, I just got back this evening.
