I've participated in orchestras that have performed a wide variety of pieces, including Borodin's "The steps of central asia", several works by mozart (Magic flute overture, things like that) Bachs' christmas oratorio, John Williams' Star Wars medley, Glinka's "Russian and Ludmilla" (i think) overture, as well a few concertos for bassoon, including Mozarts Bb k191, and Vivaldi's E minor concerto for bassoon, AND Mozarts concerto for Clarinet in A minor.

Whew.

I've only seen Detroit Symphony play a few concerts, I'm hoping to see something in Chicago within the next few weeks, I'm taking the train there for a day! But through Blue Lake and my old high school I've performed quite a few pieces.

I saw lots of different orchestras last time I went to Paris. Most impressive by far was the Paris orchestra (there could of been a fancier name for them, the trip was a year ago) preform Mozart's Requiem with period instruments. Amazing.
