He's produced a number of scores for films/games (shrek, man on fire, deja vu, kingdom of heaven etc etc)

There is a shedload of film composers out there, who don't get the accolades they deserve. HGW is not a name that stands out in the film world.

Agreed. Amelie was a great score, but he is not prolific. There are so many great film composers out there.
