I grew up with JC's music in my house, along with Elvis and the Rolling Stones.

Met the Man once in a seafood restaurant about 1980. Very nice and gracious.

You know, The Highwayman is probably my least favorite of his songs. :\

Inspiring- both in his music contributions and in his life. No matter your age or background, if you can't appreciate Cash, you don't know good music.
1. Hurt
2. Walk the Line
3. The Man comes Around
4. Big River
5. Cocaine Blues

Johnny Cash is over rated. For every good song he had, there were at least 5 that were absolute shit.

That said, I like "One Piece At A Time".

One Piece at a Time will always be my favorite by him, but his later tracks like Hurt and God's Gonna Cut You Down are just as good.
