I picked up Birthday Boy in a charity shop - it's ace - anyonbe recommend me any other albums by him? I've heard Bert and John is good.

I don't have any full albums do not sure... however The Black Midwinter is a nice track if you're in a festive mood

Bert Jansch is awesome. Bert and John is my favorite album. Great songwriter. His voice is something that's grown on me but his guitar playing is wonderful.
