true, but that is true of most genre's nowadays. but it is still a way to draw in new fans.

I don't think it's relevant to anyting. All that's important is an album and what's on it.

Why wouldn't it mean anything? Music is the same no matter how many people are behind. If it's truly a good record someone will like it and pass the word.
