Sufjan is amazing. I read somewhere he's supposed to put out a record for all 50 states. Oh boy, I can't wait for Missouri, you know that's going to be intense.

he's really great...i own the last 3 albums he's done, and loved every single one. i just hope he can finish his whole 50 state project...

i think that sufjan has a really amazing way of writing songs. and his singing....wow. this guy is a genius and he's gonna be remembered forever. he makes me wanna become a christian

i don't get it, is he supposed to be a christian artist? i haven't really noticed it.....

not so much a christian artist as in a preacher kind or singing at church fundraiser bible pushing stuff. but he is christian and it does come up in his music quite a bit but never in a preachy way. like seven swans abraham is a bible tale. you know the last line '....until jesus comes' and alot of illinios has constant reference to god, but in a good questioning way eg. ' he takes and he takes and he takes etc. '
