Default I try to respect all forums of Music but...

Why I try to respect all forums of music is simple because it's not totally your choice what you listen to. My parents didn't listen to music when I was growing up and I developed my own taste. Your parents have a huge part in determing what you listen to and so do your friends while your growing up. I do not like country, but I'm trying to learn to respect it. I just can't respect rap, Hardcore or reggae, because simply there isn't enough music involved. Can someone good country songs that I could try? I really want to respect it but it really seems unmusical.

Do you care to elaborate on that final sentence there?

he put on the skin and screwed on the head

Reggae is about rhythm and compared to Jazz is very, very simple. There's nothing else there. As for elaborting on my last sentence Have you ever seen a classical guitarist? Have you ever seen a country guitarist. Do you understand how hard it is to play a Homophonic (this means the you play the chord progression, bass (not as in the instrument but as in the lowest melody of a Homophonic piece of music) and melody at the same time) piece of music on a guitar. There were definatly great Country guitarists like Chet Atkins, but the major of country music is a simple melody and a guy singing over it. I'm asking doesn't Country get any more complicated?

If your looking for technically performed music played at a high standard you've obviously missed the point of what music like Country , Reggae & other forms of Folk music are about , which is about telling stories & singing about everyday life with lyrics people can relate to.
The whole beauty of these genres is that anybody can pick up an instrument & make a statement.

I don't know how you can listen to guys like Hank Williams, Kris Kristofferson or Johnny Cash and not have respect for it. They were great songwriters and storytellers and mean more to most people than any of your precious composers. In addition to that, I don't think you understand country, actually reading your posts I don't think you understand most music. Here is some examples of great modern country.

Simplicity doesn't equal bad. There's a lot more to music than how complicated something's written. Notes and rhythms are only a small part of music.
