I still like you Crowquill, no matter what others say. Some people just dont have very good taste for good, mature music. Some simply like bubblegum, cartoonish styles of music. Oh well..For each his own.

I see that as a possibilty further down the road with the talent they possess as a band, [Rascal Flatts]. In no way am I trying to refer they hold tha same statis as classic bands such a Journey. If they produce albums as good, &/or better as there latest work, maybe someday? Anything is possible within the music industry. Just to early to tell what kind of mark they will leave in Contemperary Country. Hell....man, They could split up & splinter off in opposite directions towmorrow. Time will tell I guess. Peace.

There's nothing mature about this music. It's soft rock radio rubbish spoon fed to the masses and it amazes me how many people swallow this shit.

Default Rascal Flatts

I like the new era's musical accent of the banjo with todays contemporary country, alt/country. However classified with today's media. The banjo, with other traditional country stringed instruments, have a new sound/accent, mixed with the more modern/contemporary, pop, top 40, rock, funk, blues, etc. Of todays modern country. The banjo seems to be using simple basic rythm chords in most of the modern country songs of today. It is something about the different (how can I say it) Simplicity, Modern Originality, Mix, Funk, etc. That the banjo brings with todays modern country bands/music. And Rascal Flatts shows one of the best examples of using the banjo so accordingly with modern country. Jason Aldean's music is another good example at using the banjo in this way, while at the same time, both bands apply the lower octive notes of a 5-string bass guitar to their music which also gives the lower grunge sound to the bottom end. Traditional country music's, stringed instruments (violin, banjo, etc). Has progressed for the better in todays country music. Which in return, has expanded country music to other genres of music, & listeners, etc. (in my opinion). Just a personal observation.
