Default indie/acoustic/folk

what are some good bands kind that kind of fit this description?

I'm just looking for chill kind of stuff that focuses on instruments such as acoustic guitar, maybe some violin and banjo, whistling, soft vocals, whatever; it doesn't have to meet all the criteria.

think bands like old crow medicine show, andrew bird, m. ward, moldy peaches, iron & wine, and everything in between.

thanks for the help

There is a band / musician in your own state of Kentucky that you might be interested in - Palace (Palace, Palace Bros., Palace Music).

Page France, Iron and Wine, Bright Eyes, Vashti Bunyan, The Decemberists, Elliott Smith, Neutral Milk Hotel, Andrew Bird, Joanna Newsom, Devendra Banhart, Okkervil River, Nick Drake, The Shins, Wilco, Tegan and Sara, some Beck (mostly Sea Change) that should be good enough to get you started.

William Fitzsimmons, Rocky Votolato, Xavier Rudd, Alexi Murdoch, Drew Danburry, Damien Rice, Denison Witmer.
I'm sure there are more, but that's just off the top of my head.
