Yes, I am. And I guess you also, since your avatar is a drawing by Quino.

^ Well done! In seven years, you are the first person on MB to identify the artist of my avatar!

In fact, I'm from England, but I've lived for 25 years in Mexico. When I first arrived, Quino was very popular, and you could find all his Mafalda and other books in the bookshops. He's probably my favourite cartoonist ever.

Payaguaya is a new Juana Molina song for me, thanks! ...and I put some words of Cocaine Taxi in the rock section, ok?

Also, if you like, you can introduce yourself to MB by opening a thread in this section: Introductions - Music Banter
If you have any questions, just let me know; by private message if you prefer, which you can access by going to "User PC" at the top left of your screen.

This are things I hear in the radio today. Is not the kind of music I choose, but I liked it.

Please, clarify. ¿Is not that way in Britain? ¿How do you tie women in poles?

Thanks for showing us what's on the radio in Argentina;it's quite exotic for us as we don't have many members in the Southern Hemisphere.

I think these two were my favourites:

^ Haha! When we thought they were witches, we tied women to poles and burned them to death, but that doesn't happen so much today!

If you want to know about English culture through music, this might be a good place to start. It's about our affection for things that are disappearing in the modern world:

Spoiler for lyrics:
The Village Green Preservation Society - The Kinks

We are the Village Green Preservation Society
God save Donald Duck, vaudeville and variety
We are the Desperate Dan Appreciation Society
God save strawberry jam and all the different varieties
Preserving the old ways from being abused
Protecting the new ways, for me and for you
What more can we do?
We are the Draught Beer Preservation Society
God save Mrs. Mopp and good old Mother Riley
We are the Custard Pie Appreciation Consortium
God save the George Cross, and all those who were awarded them
Ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh
We are the Sherlock Holmes English-speaking Vernacular
God save Fu Manchu, Moriarty and Dracula
We are the Office Block Persecution Affinity
God save little shops, china cups, and virginity
We are the Skyscraper Condemnation Affiliates
God save Tudor houses, antique tables, and billiards
Preserving the old ways from being abused
Protecting the new ways, for me and for you
What more can we do?
We are the Village Green Preservation Society
God save Donald Duck, vaudeville and variety
We are the Desperate Dan Appreciation Society
God save strawberry jam and all the different varieties
We are the Village Green Preservation Society
God save Donald Duck, vaudeville and variety
We are the Desperate Dan Appreciation Society
God save Donald Duck, vaudeville and variety
God save the Village Green!

I would say that English, British and Commonwealth realm music had ever been highly appreciated here. It is our north and our school, and something that needs to be preserved and cultivated.

In case of doubt:
