Default The Nick Drake Appreciation Thread

Five Leaves Left is sublime
Bryter Layter is better than any orgasm any girl has given me
Pink Moon sends more chills down my spine than an arctic winter.

He`s rather good isn`t he

I've only listened to Five Leaves Left and Pink Moon but both are superb.

I picked up Bryter Layter a couple of weeks ago. Its a great album. I like Northern Sky a lot.

Pink Moon is the only full album I have and it gives me goosebumps.

I have assorted mp3s including a nice Jackson C Frank cover 'Blues Run the Game,' and Aimee Mann, Nick Drake, Elliott Smith & Martin Sexton all singing 'River Man.'

Mogwai done a track called Nick Drake. It's beautiful also, check that out.

Im really glad Volkswagon chosse to put him in a comercial, otherwise he'd be still relativly unknown by a majority of people.

I pick up "one of these things first" off the garden state sound track, and I really enjoy this song. If you don't know anything, I'd say this isn't a bad place to start.

My loins yearn for Pink Moon. I need that album BAD. From what I hear, it's PURE Drake at his best.
