This little girl killed by the muscly bastard dog. Hate to criticise the parents but why would you keep a dog (a rehomed dog as well, even more reason to be wary) that size in a fucking flat with a little girl built like a twig ffs?

Simple fact is that certain breeds (like the one that killed this girl) pitbulls/fighting dogs cannot be trusted and should not be kept as pets with young kids around. They are unpredictable and very few owners can control them at the best of times.

Don't you go spewing that bullshit where someone might believe you, friend. You said it yourself that it was a rehomed dog, so obviously it went through bad owners in its early life, which is very hard to overcome. They have the capacity to be monsters but it really depends on how they're raised.

If scrotes and tramps owned Labs and Chihuahuas there'd be less dead kids, it's these same type of dogs again and again attacking and killing people. Certain breeds (like the one that killed this girl) are bred for fighting, for every dog attack victim there is an owner saying how out of character it was and how their dog would never normally hurt a fly. That boils my piss.

It is a shame that some people raise dogs that have the capacity to be great dogs as fighting dogs, I agree. However, if you look at the cases of people saying that attacks are out of the ordinary, they commonly got their dog from the pound. Not every dog from the pound has a bad history, but what sadly happens is that people will raise their dogs like ****s and abandon them or have them taken away and put in a pound. The dog's nature does have the ability to be outright vicious, but it takes a ****ty owner to do so.

If those dogs got banned like the prudes want them to, I think that the same stigma would move on to German shepards or some other large dog for the same reasons as pits and rotties.

They shouldn't be banned but there should be much stricter controls.

Proper licensing which assesses the people keeping the dog and where it is kept, restrictions on where you can go with a dog not under strict control, massive fines/jail for people who don't control the dogs properly.

Dog home needs a good seeing to as well.

I completely agree. These dogs get a bad rep for what humans train them as to fight. They are naturally gentle dogs but by being starved and forced to fight they become the devils spawn.
