Always found it interesting how PMs live in the same house. Wonder if Theresa will find one of Dave's pubes in the shower.

^ However fascinating that line of enquiry may be, I'd like to turn to Lilja's clever post:-

I do think Brexit did put the EU into perspective for many countries in the EU. It is not just this vague entity that we belong to. Perhaps it will make the EU stronger?

Update: Wait a minute. Boris Johnson is your new foreign secretary?

^ I like your observation about the cast of Top Gear, Lilja, and Clarkson's reaction to Johnson's appointment! How well-informed you are about British culture - I feel I should apologise for knowing so little about Sweden.

Yes, rather worrying that Theresa May has chosen Boris Johnson for such a high-profile diplomatic position, especially as diplomacy is something he hasn't yet learned how to do.

If, as you suggest, the EU could be stronger, more cohesive without Britain, I wonder if we dare hope for a win-win situation for both EU and Britain? After all, that's how some divorces end up, and here, for example, is a glimmer of optimism about post-Brexit UK:-

THe problem the EU now has, is that if the UK leaves and get a good deal everyone else will want to leave AKA the end of the EU
