Honestly, I want to see the movie out of spite, and say that the female roles were terrible and shouldn't have been in the movie to begin with. Stick it to the man, so to speak.

Honestly, I like all the female comedians in the movie so I may go see it for that reason.

Except the black lady from SNL. Has she ever made a funny joke?

During the convo, did you mention that what are likely white cis male execs made the gender reversal specifically to tap into the market that she's in? There will be some impressive fireworks once she finds out that her cause was turned into a cheap marketing ploy.

Last time I went to the theatre with one of my friends, they played the trailer and she actually laughed at one of the jokes so I just glared at her until she realized how ashamed of her I was.

All companies use causes as cheap marketing ploys. Nothing new there. Yeah, Melissa Mccarthy has some good jokes.
