Justice are awful and I seem to remember Digitalism getting stick for being Daft Punk clones. Justice are far more guilty. Their music is so average it defies belief. The Herbaliser and Freestylers have been making far more interesting music than Justice over the last few years.
I cannot think of anybody within my music circles proclaiming that Justice are a great band. I seriously do not see what the fuss is all about. |

Lots of producers have been making more interesting music than Justice, I don't see why you would mention a pair of 90s Hip-Hop and breaks groups, both of whom have absolutely nothing to do with what Justice & co. are doing, as particularly innovative compared to Justice? |

This piece of music is better than anything Justice has put out. You are saying that Electro House did'nt exist. Forget bands. The genre is nearly 30 years old. |

I really don't see how you could dislike Justice and then find the Propellerheads interesting? "Bang On!" sounds like it could've been made by half the groups involved in this scene. All they did was take a fairly typical rock song and add a 303 synth. Honestly, with all the early 90s Acid House influence going on in Electro House right now, I wouldn't be surprised if at this point next year groups like Justice and Digitalism were making tracks just like this (Simian Mobile Disco are already halfway there, all they need to do is raise the BPM and Attack Decay Sustain Release would sound like any 90s Big Beat album). Or are you trying to say that the Propellerheads DID make Electro House and that it's 30 years old? I'm not sure what you even mean by bringing them up. |

I'd also agree with Enemy and say DIOYY offer a more in-depth listening experience. As does this 15 year old classic... |

Guys, I never said that Justice were the first group ever to use gated disco samples and distortion, just that Justice were the ones that made Electro House, as we know it today, as popular as it is.
Also, I still think DIOYY are terrible, and why are we comparing Justice to techno now? ![]() |
