I was delighted to discover tons of YMO footage on the 'tube last night; never realised how big they were...
Yellow Magic Orchestra - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia in the studio 1980? Includes some compositions they are renowned for I love this crap. Even the 'Naughty Boys'-era Asian synth-pop. But as the video above shows they were unashamedly pop in their approach. Anybody know the best place to start with Ryuichi Sakamoto?
