Default Can I Call Breathe Carolina Electronica?

I like lots of electronica (basshunter, daft punk, tatu, deadmau5, boyz noize) but i got attacked for calling breathe carolina electronica. I can see why, but its like thats the main genre i would say. Does anyone agree?

Just check out a couple of their videos. Hadn't heard them before.

I personally wouldn't call them electronica... just like I wouldn't call Attack! Attack! or BrokeNCDYE electronica either.
I certainly wouldn't "attack" you if you did though cause I mean can see where you're coming from I guess. /shrug

Not gonna lie here. I can listen to this kinda stuff occasionally, cause its kinda entertaining in a goofy sorta way, but for the most part this fad kinda stinks ><

Doesn't sound like electronica to me. It's one of those newfangled kid genres. It's pop, basically. Eww, this is pretty bad dude.

You can call them whatever you want I would have to disagree with you and agree with the others, they are pop.

There's something in there that reminds me of basshunter too, this scares me.... a lot.

I'd describe the one song of theirs that I just checked out as some kind of pop electronica I guess. Electronica is such a broad term though, it doesn't mean all that much.

The song I checked out had corporate emo-ish vocals. And probably a vocoder. And hard rock guitars. With electronic beats. It very much reminded me of brokencyde. It made me die a little inside.
